Our client is a distinguished law firm seeking a dedicated Labor and Employment Attorney to join their Labor and Employment Law Practice Group. This role is focused on serving public sector clients and offers a unique opportunity to provide high-level legal advice on employment and traditional labor matters.
Unlike typical firms, our client operates as a unique public law firm handling government work through private competitive bidding. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal counsel to public sector and private clients regarding employment and traditional labor matters.
Handle a heavy volume of transactional labor and employment work.
Conduct high-level legal research, writing, and analysis.
Assist in employment litigation matters.
Experience:
3–8 years of experience in labor and employment transactional law.Bar Admission:
Active membership in the California Bar.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.Background:
Experience dealing with public law work (e.g., from boutique firms, Am Law, or City Attorney’s offices).Skills:
Exceptional writing, research, and analytical capabilities.
Flexibility:
High flexibility with Remote or Hybrid options (90-95% of teams work remotely).Compensation: $140k–$220k base salary (commensurate with experience) + Annual performance-based bonuses + Billable hour bonuses.

No book of business required for Tier 1 partnership; promotions are based on experience and drive, not just rainmaking.Culture:
