Litigation Associate

Trueline’s client, a California-based litigation firm known for its deep bench strength and enduring client relationships, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their team in San Francisco. This is a growth opportunity for a mid‑level litigator to take on substantive responsibility within a collaborative firm that values mentorship, career longevity, and a strong trial practice.

• Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters including employment disputes, financial services defense, maritime claims, and commercial litigation.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
• Appear at hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and negotiations.
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategy and prepare for trial.
• Be part of a firm that prioritizes attorney development and long‑term career growth.

• At least 4 years of litigation experience in California.
• Solid command of California civil procedure and courtroom experience.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating within a team.

• Experience with arbitration, particularly binding arbitration.
• Background in maritime or securities litigation.
• Litigation experience involving financial institutions or employers.
