About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our legal team. As a Law Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of legal tasks, including conducting research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with case preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a solid work ethic. This is a great opportunity to work alongside accomplished attorneys and gain valuable experience in class action and complex litigation.
Responsibilities- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, and pleadings.
- Assist with discovery and document production.
- Organize and maintain case files and documents.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and court appearances.
- Communicate with clients and other parties involved in legal matters.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by attorneys.
- Law school student (1L, 2L, or 3L from an ABA-Accredited law school).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Previous experience with legal research, drafting, and discovery tasks is a plus.
- Conduct in-depth legal research.
- Draft and respond to discovery requests.
- Draft discovery motions and other briefs for State and Federal Court.
- Take and draft class member declarations.
- Interview clients, witnesses, and other relevant parties.
Pay: $30-$35 per hour
Work RequirementsLocation:
Beverly Hills, CA 90210 (In-person, not remote).
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (15-20 hours per week).
