Labor And Employment Attorney

Our client, a top-rated CA law frim is seeking an associate attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join our Labor and Employment Law Practice Group. This role focuses on serving public sector and private clients in the Bay Area, providing legal counsel on both traditional labor and general employment matters.

• Advice & Counsel: Guide clients through complex workplace issues, including discipline, terminations, and compliance with California labor laws.
• Labor Relations: Assist with traditional labor matters, such as collective bargaining and grievance handling.
• Litigation: Support employment litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and representing clients in court or administrative hearings.
• Transactional: Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies.
• Research: Perform high-level legal research and draft persuasive legal memoranda.

• 3–8 years of practicing labor and employment law.
• Experience with transactional employment work and traditional labor matters.
• Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California

• Preferred: Prior experience in employment litigation.
