Responsibilities
- Understand legal terminology used in court, including legal, technological, scientific, and/or medical terminology.
- Receive daily calendar assignments from the Trial Court Interpreter Coordinator or Supervisor and accurately complete daily activity logs or other required documentation.
- Maintain effective communications with supervisors and court personnel to ensure quality customer service.
- Perform other related duties as required based on work location, assignment, or shift.
- Valid certificate as a Certified Court Interpreter in Spanish issued by the Judicial Council of California.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in a position requiring extensive public contact and interpretation/translation work.
- Valid driver's license.
- Employment type:
