About The Position Position Summary

The ideal candidate possesses a strong sales mentality, a desire to succeed, and good organizational/interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus. This is an in-office position.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with various insurance needs, including new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering questions.
  • Inspect vehicles to assess condition and determine insurance risk.
  • Seek out new clients, generate prospect lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing. Work with the office manager to develop marketing strategies.
  • Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, and contact underwriting to complete policies.
  • Maintain daily housekeeping routines.
Position Qualifications
  • High‑school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Customer service/insurance sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
  • Valid and current Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license in California (highly preferred but not required).
  • Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
  • Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and learn company software quickly.
  • Complete continuing education courses (paid by A-MAX) as required to maintain active license status with CDI.
