Principal Consultant - Insurance and Reinsurance  

JCW is currently working on behalf of a wholesale MGA specializing in commercial binding authority business looking to add a Broker. This role offers the chance to take full ownership of an underperforming but high-potential region, with strong backing from underwriting, service, and a tech‑enabled platform that lets you focus on production. You’ll have the autonomy to run your territory like your own business while being part of a company that’s driving real change in wholesale distribution.

CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCATED IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

• Drive regional premium growth by developing retail agent partnerships, increasing engagement, and identifying new business opportunities.
• Own and manage agent relationships, serving as the main point of contact for submissions, training, and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with underwriting and service teams to ensure smooth execution, efficient production, and achievement of aggressive GWP goals.

• 3+ years of experience in E&S commercial insurance, ideally within an MGA, wholesale, or binding authority environment.
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with independent retail agents and consistently hitting growth or premium targets.
• Entrepreneurial, self‑motivated, and comfortable managing a territory with significant growth potential, leveraging strong underwriting and service support.
