INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Sandy Lane Hotel, an AAA Five Diamond, Forbes Five Star exclusive resort and a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is seeking to recruit an Information Technology Support Technician (I.T Support Technician).

The Role

The Information Technology Support Technician will assist with providing technical support to guests and internal customers delivering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Provides installation, configuration, maintenance and support for all Sandy Lane Hotel owned and operating system products ensuring that the relevant upgrades are installed on all Personal Computers peripherals and servers
  • Installs and sets up all Personal Computers, Servers, Printers, POS and other hardware peripherals
  • Performs preventative and runtime troubleshooting and maintenance on all Personal Computers, Server, 41

    Printers, POS and other hardware peripherals
  • Assists users with the general handling and usage of Personal Computers, Servers, POS, Printers, and other hardware peripherals
  • Installs, maintains and troubleshoots all application software systems and hardware systems and assists users in solving problems in the use of these systems
  • Provides hardware and software support for all audio-visual systems
  • Provides maintenance and support for the data and telephone networks
  • Assists with the maintaining the daily operation of back
    -up systems
  • Assists with Helpdesk and Network operations to diagnose and resolve problems
Our preferred candidate must possess
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2013 operating systems (PC, Server)
  • Knowledge of Networking Essentials
  • Familiarity with VoIP Telephone Systems
  • Experience with audio visual systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent customer skills
  • Ability to prioritise and systematically troubleshoot complex problems
  • Ability to self-manage

The successful candidate must consistently maintain the highest standard of service and operational efficiency within all areas of responsibility.
