A global client of ours is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer (SailPoint) to support, design, and enhance their enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem. This role is centered on SailPoint Identity
IQ engineering, integration, and governance capabilities within a large, complex global environment.
- Engineer and maintain SailPoint Identity
IQ (IIQ) solutions across the enterprise - Develop and enhance IIQ workflows, rules, forms, lifecycle events, and provisioning processes
- Build and support integrations with directories (e.g., AD/LDAP), databases, cloud platforms, and business applications
- Implement and optimize Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models and access governance frameworks
- Configure and manage access request workflows, certifications, policies, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls
- Support identity lifecycle management processes (Joiner, Mover, Leaver)
- Perform platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
- Monitor IAM platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve technical defects
- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Application, and Compliance teams to deliver scalable IAM solutions
- Contribute to IAM strategy, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience as an IAM Engineer with strong focus on SailPoint Identity IQ
- Proven experience designing and implementing IAM solutions in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of IAM principles: identity lifecycle management, RBAC, access governance, SoD, and compliance
- Experience integrating IAM platforms with enterprise systems and cloud applications
- Familiarity with security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience with SailPoint Identity Now or other IAM platforms
- Knowledge of cloud identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, Okta)
- Experience working in highly regulated industries
- Exposure to Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines for IAM deployments
- 12‑month freelance contract with strong likelihood of extension
- Long‑term engagement potential (up to 3 years)
