GDIT is a government contractor providing professional and technical services to various government agencies (i.e. defense).

We are currently looking for a Configuration Manager to join our winning team. The individual hired for this position will provide support for our government customer, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) on site in Point Mugu, CA. This is your opportunity to work in a technically advanced, positive, and productive environment in the Marine Corps Spectrum Integration Lab (MCSIL) supporting systems such as Intrepid Tiger II
.

• Serve as an interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues
• Contribute to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects
• Act as primary liaison between Program Management and other functional groups and resolve any issues regarding configuration management documentation
• Integrate software, develop external interfaces, and maintain technical documentation
• Establish, document, implement, manage, and monitor the release management process in line with overall objectives, and ensure program-wide compliance
• Measure and monitor progress to help ensure application/version releases are delivered in a timely manner and meet expectations
• Help define exact content and roll out plan for a release, aligned with change management processes
• Help identify all applicable stakeholders per release, notify, communicate, and manage expectations as required during the planning and roll out of new release

• Must be US Citizen
• Current Secret Clearance required to start
• BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 4+ years experience
• Experience with DoW or weapons development programs
• Self‑motivated; ability to maintain excellence with minimum supervision
• Experience working with tight deadlines and handling escalations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills

The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
