Lead, Product Manager - Credit Origination

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Product Manager to own and drive the evolution of our core Credit capabilities for Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). This is a pivotal role where you will define the future of how we originate and underwrite our clients for credit products.

You will work closely with the CIB & Risk users, engineering, data science, operations, and compliance to define a scalable, compliant, and best-in-class Credit capabilities target state. As a Senior Product Manager, you will also be expected to mentor other product managers and champion a culture of product excellence. In addition to strategic transformation, you will also lead design and support delivery of regulatory, risk and audit requirements aligned to the strategic target vision.

• Product Strategy & Vision – develop and champion a compelling product vision and long-term strategy for the core credit capabilities. Define and articulate the roadmap that balances innovation, technical debt, and business objectives. Bring CIB business understanding and acumen & “Client centricity” to bear in the design and implementation of business change initiatives.
• Execution & Delivery – Partner closely with Product Owners & Technology in an agile environment to deliver high-quality products. Translate complex business requirements and credit policies into clear, concise user stories and technical specifications
• Stakeholder Management – serve as the primary liaison for key business stakeholders including CIB Business, Credit Risk, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Finance. Ensure alignment and manage expectations across the organization
• Data-Driven Decisions – leverage data analytics, A/B testing, and user research to uncover insights and make informed product decisions
• Market & Industry Analysis – stay abreast of the competitive landscape, emerging fintech trends, and regulatory changes to ensure the products remain innovative and compliant
• Leadership & Mentorship – act as a senior leader within the product team mentoring junior and mid-level product managers

• Implement best practices in product management, data science, and analytics and build a culture of ownership and accountability with a strong focus on outcomes and quality of deliverables
• Prepare and maintain product roadmaps based on different dimensions and levels of granularity
• Prioritization of initiatives aligned with strategic goals of the business
• Optimization of product strategy as per business plan
• Work closely with the UX and UI teams to create user journeys and prototypes, and build simple, functional interfaces which have a lasting user experience.
• Support A/B test experiments with end-users and own test readout and analyses
• Own key capabilities and features in the strategic roadmap, ensuring stakeholders are engaged throughout delivery process
• Participate in brainstorming sessions during discovery / shaping phase for new initiatives.
• Manage multiple business stakeholders across geographies and client segments
• Proactively support Agile practices and foster a culture of continuous service improvement

• Leadership & Mentorship – act as a senior leader within the product team mentoring junior and mid-level product managers

• Monitor all major risk issues and concentrations. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to Risk Committees
• Ensure that initiatives are delivered consistent with the requirements of the ORF and in a manner, that ideally improved our operational risk profile

• Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework is a central priority of the business
• Ensure the Bank’s project and change management governance disciplines are adhered with
