Partner Operations Dashboard Designer

About the Role

Our client's Business Operations team, is seeking a Partner Operations Dashboard Designer to design a Datadog-based monitoring dashboard that provides real-time visibility into partner uptime, failures, and product experience across multiple geographies. An initial draft dashboard exists, and this engagement will assess, refine, and redesign it as needed to deliver a polished, production-ready solution.

• Conduct a current state assessment of the existing draft dashboard, documenting gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Define the information architecture, including data hierarchy, filtering logic, and user flows for multi-partner and multi-geography views.
• Create high-fidelity mockups for all dashboard views (estimated 3–5 views) that are production-ready and visually clear.
• Build an interactive, clickable prototype demonstrating key interactions such as drill-downs, filters, and alerts.
• Produce annotated design specifications for Datadog implementation handoff.
• Participate in structured meetings including a kickoff, two design reviews, and a final handoff session.
• Incorporate up to two rounds of revisions per deliverable based on stakeholder feedback.

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio in data visualization or dashboard design (monitoring, analytics, or operations dashboards preferred).
• Experience designing for constraint-based platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
• Ability to create production-ready design specifications that translate directly to platform widget capabilities.
• Experience with enterprise B2B or internal tools — not just consumer-facing applications.
• Comfort working with technical stakeholders including engineers and data teams.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into concrete, actionable design options.
• Self-directed working style with responsiveness to async feedback.
