The Senior Finacle Application Support Specialist will provide end‑to‑end production support for Finacle applications, including incident analysis, code fixes, SIT/UAT testing, deployment coordination, and continuous service improvement. The role requires strong Finacle CIF module expertise, cross‑team collaboration, and the ability to resolve complex production issues independently.
Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end management of Finacle production issues by investigating, diagnosing, and delivering code fixes to ensure timely resolution and system stability
- Analyze incidents and identify root causes for Finacle CIF and interface modules to implement effective workarounds and permanent solutions
- Plan, prepare, and execute SIT testing and UAT activities, supporting business users to validate application changes and enhancements
- Review vendor design documents and validate fixes to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements before deployment
- Coordinate source promotion and production deployment activities to maintain seamless application updates and minimize downtime
- Lead communication efforts during production incidents, SLA breaches, and major service disruptions by providing timely status updates to internal leads, stakeholders, and management
- Drive resolution of recurring issues through structured Incident and Problem Management processes to enhance production stability
- Identify performance gaps, operational inefficiencies, and process toils within Finacle applications and implement automation, performance tuning, and operational improvements
- Support Finacle customization and product configuration enhancements to meet evolving business needs
- Collaborate effectively with infrastructure teams, development groups, business users, and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues and improve service delivery
- Champion continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and operational excellence
- Experience in banking operations or core banking systems to provide domain context for application support
- Exposure to automation tools, application monitoring tools, or performance tuning methodologies to optimize system performance
