Solution Architect - Banking Client

Role Overview

The candidate is expected to architect, design, and deliver advanced digital solutions for enterprise banking clients, with a focus on React, open-source Java, and mobile (iOS) technologies. The candidate will play a pivotal role in understanding and shaping client application architectures and ecosystems, integrating Gen AI/Agentic AI, and driving end-to-end pre-sales and solutioning in collaboration with technology practices.

• The candidate is expected to analyze, map, and document client enterprise application architectures, technology stacks, and integration patterns, with a focus on digital banking channels and payments ecosystems.
• The candidate is expected to define target state architectures, reference models, and solution blueprints for complex digital transformation initiatives in banking and financial services.
• The candidate is expected to lead architecture governance, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security, scalability, and compliance requirements.
• The candidate is expected to shape and validate solution architectures that span multiple domains (web, mobile, AI, integration, data).

• The candidate is expected to architect and guide the development of full stack solutions using React (front end), open source Java (back end), and iOS (mobile).
• The candidate is expected to evaluate and select appropriate frameworks, libraries, and tools for scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.
• The candidate is expected to drive adoption of modern engineering practices: modular design, microservices, API-first, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• The candidate is expected to mentor engineering teams on advanced technical topics, code quality, and architectural best practices.

• The candidate is expected to identify opportunities for Gen AI/Agentic AI adoption within client landscapes, especially in digital banking and payments.
• The candidate is expected to architect and integrate Gen AI/Agentic AI components into enterprise solutions, ensuring responsible AI practices and business value realization.

• The candidate is expected to lead technical discovery, architecture workshops, and solution presentations with clients and stakeholders.
• The candidate is expected to develop solution proposals, technical architectures, and effort estimates for RFPs and pre-sales engagements.
• The candidate is expected to collaborate with technology practice leads to leverage reusable assets, accelerators, and best practices.

• The candidate is expected to engage with client architects, business leaders, and delivery teams to ensure solution alignment and successful execution.
• The candidate is expected to support delivery teams in resolving complex technical challenges and ensuring architectural integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

• Digital Channels: The candidate is expected to have experience designing and delivering solutions for digital banking channels (internet banking, mobile banking, payments platforms, customer onboarding, etc.).
• Banking Domain: The candidate is expected to have a deep understanding of banking processes, especially payments, digital transformation, and regulatory/compliance needs.
• Front End: The candidate is expected to have deep expertise in React (hooks, state management, component architecture, performance optimization).
• Back End: The candidate is expected to have strong experience with open source Java frameworks (Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, security).
• Mobile: The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience with iOS development (Swift/Objective-C); familiarity with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
• Integration: The candidate is expected to have experience with API design, integration patterns (REST, Graph
  
  QL, messaging), middleware, and connecting with core banking/payment systems.
• Architecture: The candidate is expected to have proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman), UML, and architecture modeling tools.
• Gen AI/Agentic AI: The candidate is expected to have practical experience integrating Gen AI/Agentic AI solutions into enterprise applications.
• Dev Ops: The candidate is expected to have familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software engineering practices (but not cloud-specific).

• The candidate is expected to have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• The candidate is expected to have experience in large-scale digital transformation, preferably in banking or financial services.
• The candidate is expected to be able to work in agile, cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• The candidate is expected to have exposure to security, compliance, and data privacy in enterprise environments.
