Insight Global is supporting a consumer-facing mobile application that releases new features on a weekly cadence. We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to focus on functional, black‑box testing of mobile builds on iOS and Android, helping ensure each release is thoroughly tested, issues are clearly documented, and fixes are verified before sign‑off. This is a manual‑first role with some light involvement in an existing Type Script‑based automation framework (framework already built).

In this role, you will primarily focus on manual testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android devices, validating new features and regression scenarios as part of a weekly release cycle. You will receive new builds, install them on devices using Test Flight (iOS) and ADB (Android), execute test cases, and perform black‑box functional testing to ensure core user flows work as expected.

Throughout the testing process, you will log and track defects in JIRA, re‑test fixes in subsequent builds, and help provide release sign‑off by the end of each week. You will also use Charles Proxy to inspect mobile network traffic to support debugging and defect validation, and you will support existing automation efforts by creating or updating test cases in an established Type Script‑based test framework and assisting with basic test debugging as needed.

• 4 years of QA experience, with strong manual testing focus
• Hands‑on experience testing mobile apps on iOS and/or Android (both preferred)
• Experience installing/testing pre‑release builds:
  • Test Flight (iOS)
  • ADB (Android)
• Experience using Charles Proxy (or similar) to inspect mobile network traffic
• Experience writing clear test cases and defect reports in JIRA (or similar tools)
• Working knowledge of Type Script (able to read/edit test files and create test cases within an existing framework)

• Familiarity with Selenium (or Selenium-based/in-house tools)
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot/Cursor) to assist with test case generation/debugging
• Any experience testing an OTT application
