Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.

Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.

We're hiring a Platform Manager, PLM, to serve as the Architect, Technical Specialist and a Guardian of our PLM environment. You are the expert responsible for ensuring our Product Data Management (PDM) and related ECM/IT systems are not only technically resilient and high-performance, but are fully aligned with our people and critical processes. You will proactively study, drive, and execute key initiatives into reliable system solutions that accelerate our entire product lifecycle.

Your core value lies in your deep understanding of PLM governance complexity and your ability to effectively translate and communicate that necessity to the business.

You will lead/execute the architectural design, continuous development, and maintenance of the PLM environment. This includes optimizing data models (e.g., product structure, variant management) and enhancing core functionality to maximize organizational efficiency, quality, and security. You also interface with external system vendors and consultants to ensure system compatibility and adequate support.

As the internal technical authority, you will own the system’s functionality and the integrity of critical integrations with MCAD, ECAD, and ERP. You are responsible for Release Management, meticulously planning deployments to ensure zero disruption to product development timelines, and managing expert level support together with the system vendor.

Your success hinges on the quality of data flow and collaboration. You will work intensely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Business Systems teams to define configuration needs, driving User Experience (UX) optimization and ensuring maximum data compliance and adoption across the organization.

What you will do:
  • Execute the PLM roadmap, ensuring the systems support the entire product lifecycle, from CAD/ECAD creation through MBOM release.
  • Drive the continuous development of the PLM environment and related IT tools.
  • Serve as the internal technical authority, owning the system's functionality and resilience.
  • Ensure the integrity of critical integrations with enterprise systems, including MCAD, ECAD, and ERP.
  • Lead Release Management, meticulously planning deployments of patches and new features.
  • Define and enforce standards for data security and access control.
  • Manage efficient Tier1-Tier 3 support with the system vendor.
  • Conduct proactive vendor management to optimize support and system compatibility.
  • Provide high-quality User Support for the PLM platform, acting as the primary point of contact for functional and technical queries.
  • Evaluate and execute process development and alignment initiatives for PDM and ECM.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Deep Proficiency in PLM systems:
Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in the administration, configuration, and maintenance of a PLM software, Siemens Teamcenter preferred.

Understanding of migration strategies, testing, and system upgrade management. Familiarity with PLM backend database concepts (e.g., SQL) sufficient for troubleshooting and performance monitoring.

  • Practical experience in configuring and developing Jira to manage product development tasks and issues.

Experience in working with vendors to optimize support, and ensure system compatibility and performance standards are met. Proven experience in providing high-quality User Support and driving User Experience (UX) optimization for key power users.…
