Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate will manage timelines, scope, and deliverables using agile tools like JIRA, while also supporting leadership communication and continuous improvement strategies. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring project alignment with organizational goals and creating clear, effective presentations for stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Drive end-to-end execution of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery
* Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans
* Track project scope, milestones, and deliverables using JIRA and other project management tools
* Identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project success
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
* Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and status updates using Power Point
* Partner with leadership to develop strategic improvements and process enhancements across project delivery
* Facilitate project meetings, document outcomes, and ensure follow-up on action items
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology or cross-functional environment
* Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
Preferred
Skills:
* PMP or other project management certification is a plus
* Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
* Prior exposure to process improvement or operational excellence initiatives
* Executive communication experience or stakeholder management background
* Strong PowerPoint and presentation-building skills for leadership updates
