Work on Frontier AI Systems | Via 10x.team | Major AI Lab Partner
The Opportunity10x.team is assembling a select group of European compliance and regulatory specialists to support leading frontier AI labs in training next-generation models. This is not traditional compliance work. This is model shaping. You will help advanced AI systems reason better about European regulatory frameworks: from GDPR and AML/KYC enforcement to DORA, NIS2, eIDAS 2.0, and qualified electronic signatures. If you care about regulatory precision, structured risk analysis, and the future of intelligent systems, this is your arena.
YourMission
You will contribute to reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) datasets that strengthen AI reasoning across European compliance and regulatory contexts.
Responsibilities- Draft complex prompts involving regulatory interpretation, compliance workflows, risk assessments, and enforcement scenarios across key EU frameworks (GDPR, DORA, NIS2, AML/KYC, eIDAS 2.0, QES)
- Evaluate and refine AI-generated responses for regulatory accuracy, jurisdictional nuance, and professional standards
- Create variants of prompts tailored to different personas (e.g., DPO, compliance officer, MLRO, CISO, regulator, fintech founder, trust service provider)
- Design examples that intentionally expose weaknesses in regulatory reasoning — e.g., cross-framework interactions, territorial scope edge cases, or misapplied exemptions
- Collaborate asynchronously with our research coordination team
This is structured, high-focus intellectual work.
Who We're Looking ForYou are a compliance or regulatory professional with hands-on experience implementing or advising on EU regulatory frameworks.
Minimum Profile- Qualified compliance, regulatory, or legal professional working within an EU or UK jurisdiction
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory advisory, or enforcement
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following: GDPR/data protection, AML/KYC (AMLD), DORA (digital operational resilience), NIS2 (cybersecurity), eIDAS 2.0/qualified electronic signatures, or EU trust services regulation
- Exceptional analytical ability and structured communication skills
- Ability to identify regulatory misinterpretations, logical inconsistencies, and compliance gaps quickly
Bonus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CISM, ICA Diploma, DORA/NIS2 specialist training)
- Experience across multiple regulatory frameworks and their interactions
- Experience with regulatory enforcement, supervisory dialogue, or drafting compliance documentation
- Background in financial services, fintech, or trust service providers
- Interest in AI, regtech, and emerging technologies
What matters most: you understand how regulatory compliance works in practice — risk-based application, proportionality, supervisory expectations, cross-framework dependencies — and you can break it down with precision.
Commitment & Structure- Fully remote
- Asynchronous work (flexible scheduling — work in your own time)
- 10–20 hours per week
- Estimated duration: 2–4+ months (extension possible)
- Independent contractor agreement
High-quality contributors may be invited to longer-term AI training initiatives.
Compensation- Competitive hourly rate (market-aligned for senior European compliance professionals)
- Paid weekly via secure payment infrastructure
- Performance and quality-driven continuation
You won't be writing compliance policies for a single organisation. You ll be shaping how AI systems understand and reason about European regulation. GDPR enforcement logic, DORA resilience requirements, NIS2 incident obligations, AML risk assessments, and eIDAS trust frameworks at scale.
This is applied expertise with global impact.
