Job Description And DutiesThis position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the department and is subject to change as business needs arise.
The Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to work in the Web Technologies Team (WTT). The Information Technology Associate performs a variety of tasks in connection with analysis, research, testing, implementation and support of the EDD's public facing web content and accessibility compliance efforts.
The successful candidate has an understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), accessibility testing tools, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, .Net development, responsive web design; and demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing superior customer service.
This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. Employees are required to report to the headquarters office as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
Position is located at EDD's newly built headquarters at 1416 9th Street, Sacramento, California. Positions exist in Sacramento.
