Application Developer Programmer III

The Application Developer (Programmer III) is responsible for analyzing application needs across multiple business areas, designing scalable solutions, and implementing high-quality systems.

This role leads significant and complex development projects, ensuring adherence to development standards, security best practices, and efficient system design.

The developer will work closely with technical teams, business users, and management to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing applications.

• Design, build, and maintain user-facing applications using the Angular framework, focusing on responsive UI, reusable components, and high-performance solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications using SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, optimization, and integration with front-end components.
• Architect application systems to ensure optimal performance, user experience, and high availability for mission-critical applications.
• Ensure all applications align with information security requirements and follow industry best practices to safeguard sensitive information.

• Monitor application health and configure systems to improve performance and prevent downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues by analyzing requests, modifying code, testing changes, and implementing updates.
• Review custom applications for compatibility with network systems and related programs.
• Prepare project plans, schedule tasks, and delegate responsibilities as needed.
• Conduct code reviews, assist with system implementations, and lead testing efforts.
• Provide guidance to junior team members in preparing and executing project plans.
• Ensure timely and efficient project execution in alignment with set timelines.

• Develop clear, complete, and concise documentation for programs, systems, and technical procedures.
• Provide regular project status updates to management.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and business users.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical design and application development.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Angular framework development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with SQL Server development and database management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to lead meetings, coordinate project outcomes, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Knowledge of application architecture principles and troubleshooting techniques.

• Experience with Oracle database development.
• Ability to solve advanced application architecting challenges.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
