Screwdriver set (standard and Phillips-head), console cables (Standard Cisco console cable), pair of pliers, ladder, zip ties, tape, or some other method of labeling cables before disconnection (photos can also be utilized)
Laptop:
Putty installed; you must have an alternate method of internet connection (hot spot or cell phone tethering) available
Arrive onsite and meet with local Point of Contact.
Locate and inventory equipment (1 48-port switch) to be installed at site location.
Take pictures of the existing condition of the equipment prior to refresh services.
Receive approval to begin planned outages.
Power-down existing device.
Remove existing device.
Install appropriate replacement device.
Confirm internet access.
Use shipping packages from new equipment to place old equipment.
Place shipping label on boxes of legacy gear.
Remove all scrap and trash material.
Post-Migration Photos- TAKE POST-MIGRATION PHOTOS OF INSTALLED DEVICES - NEED BOTH BEFORE/AFTER INSTALL PICTURES OF EACH DEVICE AND ALL SERIAL NUMBERS
