Consultant, Digital Transformation & ERP Strategy

This position requires the ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Our corporate office is located in Orange County, CA. Employees in this position are permitted to reside anywhere in the United States, provided they have reliable access to a major airport within close proximity to support business travel needs.

Position Summary

Tri Vista Consultants collaborate with other members of the Tri Vista team on a variety of projects. Due Diligence projects usually take 3-4 weeks and incorporate data room analysis, site visits, and report generation, leading up to report-out meeting with the Client. Digital & Technology projects can encompass supporting clients with M&A transactions, Business Enablement and Digital Transformation journeys, and ERP strategy.

Tri Vista Consultants may also be required to support operational projects including supply chain and continuous improvement engagements. You will have the opportunity to interface with Clients on site and will required to travel up to 75% of the time.

In addition, Consultants assist Tri Vista staff with a variety of internal operational activities including development of training materials, white papers, research, practice tools, and analysis support for projects.

Tri Vista’s Consultants represent the image and credibility of the firm. Their roles require regular interface with clients that include Private Equity investors, boards of directors, and corporate level executive team members. Excellent spoken and written communication skills are essential.

Ability and willingness to undertake travel domestically and internationally is required.

Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of Due Diligence projects including project set up and kick off, data requests, data analysis, team logistics, site visits, and report generation
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to projects analysis including business process maps, enterprise resource diagrams, value stream maps, root cause analysis, pareto charts, etc.
  • Support future state planning of Digital and Technology operating models, IT cost synergy analysis, cybersecurity landscape analysis, and application modeling
  • Contribute to one or multiple work streams for post-merger integrations, including IT infrastructure consolidation, data migration strategy, and organizational restructuring
  • Develop Digital and Technology project plans, tools, and templates
  • Collaborate with team members in the Digital & Technology Practice to ensure relevant and important project information is shared efficiently and effectively
  • Develop statistical models, analyze client data, and develop presentations
  • Support senior Tri Vista team members in all aspects of project assignments as required
  • Project management – development of Gantt charts, metrics, and expense tracking spreadsheets
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested
Requirements

Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant industry and/or consulting experience and significant project experience in information technology
  • Understanding of ERP best practices for selection, requirement gathering, and implementation
  • Balanced understanding of IT systems, operations, and value drivers
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to clearly express ideas and recommendations to a broad spectrum of client employees from manufacturing personnel to CEOs
  • Self-motivated with high initiative and drive to complete assignments on time with exceptional quality
  • Accurate and detail oriented
  • Highly organized and able to balance multiple priorities
  • Understanding and proficiency using the following software: MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point
Education
  • 4-year degree, preferably with a focus in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Cybersecurity, and/or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or ability to obtain once employed
  • MBA preferred but not required
