The RBG Technology Director works within the RBG Professional Services Organization to drive the strategic vision and tactical implementation of technology solutions. You will collaborate with RBG leadership, corporate technology, and HDR stakeholders to identify, evaluate and implement technology initiatives that optimize project execution and foster innovation. The primary focus includes data management, optimization, automation and visualization.

• Facilitate development of an RBG technology vision and roadmap; identify and monitor technology investment strategies.
• Advance and implement technology related to digital delivery, data management, optimization, automation and visualization.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal business classes and corporate technology to align and advance RBG program initiatives such as data analytics and AI.
• Develop and implement standardized approaches and best practices to improve the efficiency and quality of technology work.
• Identify programmatic hardware and software needs and work with corporate technology to implement solutions.
• Develop technology guidelines, policies and RBG software validation and maintenance.
• Support practice and professional discipline groups to foster technology talent collaboration and skills development.
• Participate on project teams for larger programs and pursuits.

• Experience evaluating technology, software development and deployment.
• Demonstrated understanding of a broad range of technologies and their delivery within power, waste and/or industrial sectors.
• Experience in numerical modeling, digital production, data sciences and artificial intelligence.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 5 executed projects or leading project teams in Architecture, Engineering and/or Construction industries.

• Minimum of 10 years of related field experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, information science, systems administration or a similar related field.
• Proven ability to formulate and execute applied technology strategies and implementation plans.
• Experience in data architecture and data management, well‑versed in industry standards.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration with diverse teams.
• Experienced in managing and developing diverse teams.
• Cooperates with business class directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers.
• Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values.
• Actively participates in HDR’s employee‑owned culture.

North America: $189,280 – $239,200 (based on experience and location). Eligible for benefits package.
