Electrical HQ IMMS Specialist
Under the supervision of a Caltrans Maintenance Manager I, the incumbent will support the Integrated Maintenance Management System (IMMS) statewide. The role has responsibility for coordinating system problems, providing day‑to‑day support for all IMMS users, and assisting with system enhancements.
Responsibilities- Administer IMMS system functions and user accounts.
- Coordinate end‑user account creation with IMMS training staff.
- Create system code definitions and modify inventory assets.
- Monitor Physical Highway Inventory changes and system functionality.
- Gather and evaluate end‑user generated issues and present alternative options to the IMMS team.
- Research and evaluate options for system enhancements and present alternatives to the IMMS team.
- Provide IMMS system training and run reports.
- Travel and online distance learning training required for statewide IMMS users.

Desirable QualificationsQualifications that enhance competitiveness include effective communication, presentation skills, experience with IMMS, Microsoft Office Suite, GIS, and a strong knowledge of maintenance field operations.
