As a product analyst you will explore marketplace data across sales, pricing, fulfillment, finance, and engineering. Your insights will fuel strategic initiatives, shaping robust business cases for implementation across the organization. This role is an ideal for individuals seeking to transition into a product management focused career, offering hands‑on experience across multiple business functions with a critical focus on performance and metrics at the core of what we do.
Whatwould your day-to-day look like
- Design and execute analytics and product experiments in collaboration with product teams to identify foundational insights, validate assumptions and derive key product metrics.
- Utilize strong communication and presentation skills as you act as the primary liaison for developing data‑related inquiries, investigations and dashboard insights with senior leaders within global charter services.
- Develop comprehensive dashboards to monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), offering valuable insights for decision‑making.
- Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support critical business projects and initiatives, leveraging data‑driven insights to drive strategic outcomes.
- Perform product testing for new features and system testing to identify limitations, documenting significant findings for reference.
- Draft Incident Reports and Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for major issues, facilitating a thorough understanding of incidents and enabling proactive mitigation strategies.
- Training and full immersion across key departments to gain full insight on user experience
- 1-3 years of hands‑on experience in one of the following roles:
Product Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Business Analyst. - Proficiency in SQL and Python is a must.
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis, with a track record of utilizing SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze data sets effectively.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, capable of breaking down complex problems into manageable components and articulating findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and concise communication of complex information to senior management and cross‑functional teams.
- A university degree in a related discipline is required.
- Previous experience in data analysis, demonstrating a solid understanding of statistical methods and data visualization techniques.
- Travel, tourism or transportation industry related experience
- Located in Canada
- Candidate must be within +- 3hrs of the Eastern Standard Time (EST)
