Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration & Deployment Manager to support the end-to-end configuration, build, deployment, and release activities of enterprise information systems. The consultant will collaborate closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure stable, reliable, and secure deployments in a hybrid cloud environment. This role is mission‑critical in supporting the transition from traditional infrastructure to modern cloud‑based platforms.
- Manage and execute software configuration and deployment processes
- Oversee build and continuous integration pipelines
- Define, document, and maintain deployment and operational procedures
- Manage and optimise development and runtime infrastructure (e.g., application servers)
- Support and guide development teams in migrating applications to the cloud environment
- Implement, manage, and enhance automated CI/CD pipelines
- Coordinate and manage software release cycles, including tracking tickets and verifying controls
- Perform analysis of information system performance and propose improvement actions
- Collaborate proactively with business analysts, customers, users, project leads, and developers
- EQF Level 6 qualification or equivalent, typically a Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of higher education
- Extensive experience in software deployment and release management
- Strong knowledge of build and deployment tooling, ideally including Maven
- Solid experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira)
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD automation platforms (e.g., Bamboo, Git Lab CI)
- Practical experience deploying and operating solutions in AWS cloud environments
- Familiarity with application servers, such as Tomcat
- Working knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS)
- Strong focus on quality standards and process discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to produce clear and structured technical documentation
- Confidence engaging in and contributing to technical meetings and cross‑functional discussions
