Senior Project Manager – Clinical Optimization (Cerner / Oracle Health)

Pay Range: $65–$75/hour

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead physician optimization initiatives and support key clinical programs within a healthcare organization. This role requires deep experience in Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium), strong healthcare project management expertise, and the ability to effectively engage physicians, clinical teams, and executive leadership.

This is a hybrid position
, requiring onsite presence three days per week

You will take ownership of high-impact clinical initiatives focused on improving physician satisfaction, clinical workflows, and patient outcomes. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience leading enterprise Cerner implementations and upgrades, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to drive adoption in complex hospital environments.

• Lead physician optimization and clinical initiatives, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals
• Manage project execution, including timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and governance
• Partner closely with physicians, clinical staff, and leadership to design and optimize clinical workflows
• Translate clinical needs into practical, scalable solutions that align with regulatory and organizational standards
• Facilitate working sessions to drive consensus, adoption, and change management
• Confidently present project updates, risks, and recommendations to executives (CIO, CMIO) and physician groups
• Promote structured process development and continuous improvement
• Provide clear, consistent status reporting and accountability to stakeholders

• 5+ years of healthcare project management experience
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Health (Cerner EHR), particularly clinical applications
• Experience supporting Cerner Millennium implementations and upgrades
• Proven experience leading enterprise Cerner EMR rollouts, including:
  • Device assessment
  • Workflow alignment
  • Experience supporting user readiness, training, and change management in hospital environments
  • Prior experience leading PACS system go‑lives
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication and facilitation skills

• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Experience leading clinical optimization or EHR implementation initiatives
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
