Technical Product Manager

Position Summary

The Technical Product Manager (TPM) will own the technical execution and delivery of core platform capabilities for the exchange. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, compliance, and operations, translating business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

The TPM will work closely with engineering teams to design, build, and maintain critical platform components, ensuring reliability, compliance, and extensibility across trading, onboarding, custody, and internal tooling.

• Own the technical product roadmap for assigned platform components, ensuring alignment with business, compliance, and architectural goals.
• Translate business, regulatory, and operational requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and system requirements.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to design, build, and deliver scalable backend services, APIs, and workflows.
• Lead technical discovery and solution design for new features, integrations, and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure platform features meet regulatory and control requirements (e.g., KYC, AML, data retention).
• Drive integration and optimization of third‑party and internal systems such as KYC vendors, blockchain infrastructure, custody providers, customer repository systems, and payment rails.
• Own product documentation, including technical requirements, data flows, and system diagrams.
• Manage tradeoffs between performance, scalability, security, and time‑to‑market.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Partner with QA and engineering leadership to ensure high‑quality releases and production stability.

• 5+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or a related technical role.
• Strong technical background with hands‑on experience working with APIs, backend systems, and distributed architectures.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams in an agile or iterative development environment.
• Familiarity with financial systems, fintech platforms, or highly regulated environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and stakeholder communications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills.

• Experience working in crypto, blockchain, fintech, or payments platforms
• Familiarity with KYC/AML systems, identity verification vendors, or transaction monitoring tools
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, microservices, and data pipelines
• Background in compliance‑driven product development
• Mandarin proficiency a plus
