INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPERVISOR II role incumbent serves as the IT Supervisor II over the Bimodal Support Unit, under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I over the Application Architecture, Legacy Systems & Bimodal Support Section. The position involves planning, organizing, and managing the functions of new development, production support, and enhancements of custom business applications for internal and external customers, utilizing low code no code SaaS/PaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Power Apps and various Department programming and supporting tools.

Under the general direction of the IT Manager I, the incumbent will:
- Plan, organize, and manage the functions of new development, production support, and enhancements of custom business applications for internal and external customers.
- Lead projects and collaborate with teams to implement solutions using low code/no code platforms.
- Oversee the Bimodal Support Unit within the Application Architecture, Legacy Systems & Bimodal Support Section.
Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Information Technology Supervisor II exam. To apply for the exam, you may need to be on the state examination list. The following general requirements apply:
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
- Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required and must follow the provided instructions.
- Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If basing eligibility on education, include unofficial transcripts or diploma for verification. Foreign transcripts/degrees must include a U.S. equivalency evaluation.
The SOQ serves as documentation of the ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. Each question must be numbered and addressed in order, the SOQ must be typed, no more than two pages, 12-point Arial font, and include relevant experience, education, and training. Questions include:
- Describe your experience as a technical project manager/lead on a complex IT project or enhancement effort.
- Describe your experience communicating complex IT concepts to diverse audiences.
- What strategies would you employ to cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team and ensure high-quality deliverables?
