Location:

Flexible (US & LATAM). This position is fully remote with required travel.

Travel: 25–40% (site surveys, commissioning, partner coordination).

Role mission:

Keedian Engagement Engineers lead and own end-to-end Building Automation System (BAS) and Energy Management System (EMS) implementations across multi-site portfolios, ensuring technical excellence, operational rigor, and clean handoff to Keedian Remote Monitoring & Operations.

You are responsible for turning scope into reality: from site surveys and solution design to controls programming, commissioning, partner execution, and documentation. This role exists to make sure implementations are standardized, repeatable, well-documented, and production-ready—not one-off engineering exercises.

If a system goes live, it should be because you designed it, validated it, documented it, and made it scalable.

• Implementation, Delivery & Controls Ownership
  :
  Lead site surveys, solution architecture, and engagement delivery for BAS/EMS implementations. Design control strategies aligned with Keedian standards and program, test, and commission multi‑OEM BAS platforms (Niagara 4/AX, Metasys, Eco Struxure, Desigo, Trend, Novar, Trane, Emerson). Validate point lists, sequences, alarms, and integrations prior to go‑live.
• Project Execution & Partner Management
  :
  Own delivery scope, timelines, risks, and outcomes across multi‑site implementations. Author technical solution designs, oversee implementation, and coordinate commissioning and verification with Keedian Remote Monitoring & Operations. Drive partner execution, enforcing delivery standards, artifact requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Change Control, Documentation & Handoff
  :
  Manage non‑standard changes through CAB, maintaining clear decision logs and rollback plans. Enforce documentation standards and SLAs, including point lists, as‑builts, photos, and change logs. Ensure clean, auditable handoff to Keedian Remote Monitoring & Operations.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  :
  Deliver weekly status updates and contribute to QBRs with performance insights and lessons learned. Continuously improve delivery approach, deliverables, and implementation standards based on field execution.

• 5–8+ years of hands‑on experience in BAS, EMS, DDC, HVAC controls, or electrical programming and commissioning.
• Strong proficiency in Niagara 4/AX and experience across multi‑OEM environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead implementations across multiple sites simultaneously.
• Solid project management skills: scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Strong documentation discipline and process‑oriented mindset.
• Advanced English (written and spoken). Spanish is a plus!
• Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and own outcomes end to end.

• Experience with multi-site retail, grocery, restaurant, commercial or corporate portfolios.
• Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) or analytics rule authoring.
• Measurement & Verification (M&V) reporting experience.
• Project Management certification.
• Spanish proficiency.
• Prior experience supporting long-term remote operations models.

This role reports into Field Services / Operations and works cross‑functionally with Engineering, Remote Operations, Vendor Management, and Analytics teams.
