Network​/Data Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a well‑organized Network Engineer/Technician to support the build and configuration of a network underlay that enables a 5G network. This role focuses on project‑based work within a collaborative team environment, managing multiple network builds from configuration through handoff.

• Build and configure the network underlay supporting the 5G network
• Manage multiple network builds simultaneously, each typically lasting 23 weeks
• Perform new build configurations using JunOS, IOS‑XR, Arista EOS, or Azure environments
• Review logs, validate configurations, and perform Ethernet/L1 troubleshooting
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for scheduling, handoffs, and issue resolution
• Track project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule
• Participate in daily team meetings for status updates, training, and support
• Follow established processes and documentation to ensure consistent, high‑quality builds

• Experience working on project‑based tasks in a team environment
• Hands‑on experience with new build configurations on JunOS, IOS‑XR, Arista EOS, or Azure
• Understanding of cloud computing and/or whitebox networking
• Strong Ethernet and Layer 1 troubleshooting skills
• Cisco CCNA, Juniper JNCIA, or Azure certification preferred
• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours
