We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Architect to own the technical backbone of Plasma.

This is a 0→1 role
: you’ll work closely with the founding team, quants, and our full‑stack engineers to design, build, and ship the infrastructure that advisors will use to trade billions in client assets.

Ideal path: your exceptional performance evolves into a CTO role, concurrent to our growth curve.

• High‑concurrency, low‑latency batch bursts (e.g., extremely large number of option trades generated at a particular point in the day).
• High‑frequency, low‑latency refresh cycles (e.g., large number of option positions updated with market pricing every minute during market hours).
• Heavy, low‑frequency compute jobs with bounded wait times (e.g., backtests of large number of option strategies within 5 minutes).
• Build & Architect
  :
  Architect and develop backend services and shared libraries, lead refactors and performance improvements.
• Infrastructure
  :
  Build and optimize compute, storage, and networking on AWS. Define everything in IaC Tools/CDK with Git‑driven CI/CD.
• Security & Compliance
  :
  Implement enterprise‑grade protections (SOC‑II, GLBA, custodian DDQs) with least‑privilege IAM, VPC isolation, and encryption.
• Data Architecture
  :
  Design Snowflake and Postgre
  
  SQL schemas, pipelines, and managed time‑series database (TSDB) for real‑time analytics.
• Quant Integration
  :
  Productionize pricing engines, Monte Carlo simulations, and real‑time risk monitoring.
• AI & Automation
  :
  Drive AI‑assisted initiatives (e.g., intelligent Q&A, automated support) to reduce operational overhead.
• Collaboration
  :
  Work directly with quants, PMs, and the full‑stack developer. Mentor, document, and ship clean code.
• Vision & Velocity
  :
  Own the technical vision end‑to‑end and push features from whiteboard → demo → production in weeks per SDLC.

• Have 5+ years designing and scaling backend systems.
• Have taken a product from idea to launch as an early lead engineer.
• Are fluent in AWS, Snowflake, Django, React, EC2
