Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our team to support our client in a secure environment.
The Infrastructure Cloud Architect will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, specifically Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) products with a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and services. As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, security design, implementation of complex cloud solutions, application integration and providing technical guidance to other architects and engineers.
The role will involve design and build out of infrastructure including migrating from on-prem or legacy cloud implementations to a secure cloud environment. The role will involve leading in a fast-paced environment, while rapidly and thoroughly assessing primary and target infrastructure to ensure that the target environment supports current and future applications while being secure, reliable and scalable.

Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Infrastructure Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for the following:
- Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex cloud and cloud infrastructure solutions that meet Government requirements.
- Develop and implement cloud architecture standards and best practices.
- Ensure that cloud infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Ensure that cloud infrastructure design is compliant with classified infrastructure requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in infrastructure design, solutioning and troubleshooting activities.
- Experience leading large scale cloud migrations
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to detect and diagnose issues in the cloud infrastructure and software applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other architects and engineers.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies and common services and make recommendations for their use.
- Expertise with firewalls, network routes, and bandwidth sizing for workloads.
- Expertise with Terraform, ARM, Ansible, Power Shell, Bash, and Python.
- Expertise with containerized application and orchestration
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, reliable cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with DOD STIG compliance
- Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture solutions
- US Citizenship is required
- Must Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working in complex cloud IT/Infrastructure environments
- Extensive experience in cloud architecture, specifically Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) products with a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and services
- Experience working with DOD or other Federal Government environment
- Must have active Certification:
Azure Solution Architect, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Administrator, Azure Dev Ops Engineer
- Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment and tooling
- Ability to prioritize and display a high level of adaptability/flexibility while handling job responsibilities
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, think creatively/about the big picture, and dedicated (do-er)
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and provide hands on technical support.
- OS:
Linux (RHEL Oracle), Windows (10,11, Servers ) - Experience with automated testing tools (pytest, unittest, Selenium, Postman, Terratest)
