Web Design Lead

The Missouri Reign is seeking a Web Design Lead to oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our official team website. This role is ideal for a creative and tech-savvy individual passionate about delivering an engaging online experience that connects fans with the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Website Maintenance & Updates: Keep the website content current, including schedules, rosters, news, and events. Regularly update pages to reflect team announcements, player highlights, and promotions. Monitor website performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Back-End Management: Manage website hosting, domain registration, and security protocols. Ensure smooth integration with ticketing, merchandising, and social media platforms. Implement updates, patches, and backups to maintain site stability and security.
• Design & User Experience: Create visually appealing, interactive, and user-friendly web pages. Develop responsive designs optimized for desktops, tablets, and mobiles. Follow best practices for accessibility, navigation, and loading speed. Collaborate with media, marketing, and communications teams to align the website with branding and promotional goals. Coordinate with content creators to upload videos, images, and written material.
• Analytics & Improvement: Monitor site traffic and user behavior using analytics tools. Use data to recommend and implement enhancements to improve engagement. Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies. Propose and implement new features to keep the website fresh and competitive.
• User Access & Permissions: Manage user accounts and permissions for content contributors. Coordinate with team members for access and troubleshoot login or permission issues. Maintain security protocols to protect data and site integrity.
