- Develop and customize Service Now applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, HR, Project Management, CMDB), including scripting and configuration of UI policies, business rules, client/server scripts, and workflows to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
- Design and implement automation workflows to streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and contribute to strategic planning of Service Now capabilities and upgrades.
- Perform system integrations and data migrations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across platforms.
- Ensure platform security and compliance, including role-based access controls, data protection standards, and audit readiness.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular platform health checks to ensure stability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Service Now applications, customizations, and integrations.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and provide training and support to end-users to promote adoption and effective use.
- Stay current with the latest Service Now features and best practices, applying new capabilities to continuously improve the platform.
- Provide leadership and direction to one direct report; including mentorship, task oversight, and regular performance feedback to support professional growth and ensure high-quality platform support.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (preferred);
Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist (preferred) - Proven experience as a Service Now Developer, with expertise in ITSM, HR, Project Management, CMDB, and automation
- Strong understanding of Service Now architecture, modules, and development tools
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services and integrations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Proficient in MS office
- Ability to travel as needed (~10%)
