CE is currently looking for a Technical Support Representative for our call center. The Call Center is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm onsite with the potential for hybrid once the employee is up to speed.
What you will do in the position- Technical Support for Customers and Installers
- Provides troubleshooting and repair support to installers and customers over the telephone.
- Instructs installers and customers in equipment installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and their responsibilities.
- Provides customer with installer contact information.
- Customer Service support
- Makes outbound calls in support of various administrative aspects of the Customer Service Department.
- Processes orders for accessory purchases and equipment exchanges.
- Documentation and Recommendations
- Prepares and maintains daily logs and records.
- Identifies and makes recommendations for product and process improvement.
- Supervisor Instructions
- Basic understanding of electronics and communications systems.
- Technical knowledge of installing and repairing electronic systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous troubleshooting experience.
- PC literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX).
- Ability to learn and stay current on new products, systems and services.
- Ability to work overtime and/or provide after‑hours technical support as needed.
- Spanish speaker is a plus, but not required.
- Experience:
1+ years in a related field. - Education:
Technical school or certificate – preferred in electronics. - Travel: 0%.
- Pay Rate is $17.00/hr to $21.01/hr this may vary depending on experience.

- Physical demands: employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds.
