GARNEY CONSTRUCTION
As Garney's HR Technology Intern in Kansas City, MO you will assist the HR Technology team in various tasks to assist a vastly growing Garney. To thrive in this role you will need to have a positive attitude and computer skills. This is a great chance to learn about internal HRIS systems and practices at a professional construction company.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* Assist the HR Technology team with maintaining and supporting HRIS platforms such as SAP Success Factors and other HR systems
* Support employee data management and data integrity audits
* Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and validation during HRIS updates or enhancements
* Participate in HR technology projects including document management systems, onboarding solutions, and learning systems
* Help create and maintain HRIS documentation, process guides, and training materials
* Assist with reporting and data analysis using HR systems and Microsoft Excel
* Support HRIS team members with system configuration, data uploads, and integrations
* Provide support for HR system users and assist with resolving system-related inquiries
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for HR technology and processes
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, HR Management, Business Technology, Data Analytics, or related field
* Junior or Senior standing preferred
* Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
* Interest in HR systems, technology, data analytics, or system administration
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
