. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of an alternate range when applicable.
Hybrid position, currently eligible for full‑time telework due to renovations at CCC Headquarters, 1719 24th Street, Sacramento, CA. Occasionally required to work from the CCC Sacramento Center, 570 Bercut Drive, Sacramento, CA, or when renovations are complete. Effective July 1, 2026, a Statewide mandate requires a work schedule of four days of in‑office work per week for all “Hybrid” eligible positions.

You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to our industry and market. In this role as Recruiter, specializing in Advertising and Social Media Marketing, you will identify, engage, and secure top‑tier talent to support our department’s growth initiatives. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing recruitment strategies across advertising platforms (Linked In, Indeed, Glassdoor) and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
- Engaging with candidates through outreach, screening, and interviewing.
- Maintaining candidate pipelines and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
- Analyzing recruitment metrics and reporting on talent acquisition results.

- Eligibility for List, Transfer, Reinstatement, or T&D assignment as described in the Eligibility Information section.
- Must be a California resident to be eligible for telework.
In addition to evaluating each candidate’s relative ability, the following factors provide a basis for competitively evaluating candidates:
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in advertising, social media marketing, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in leveraging advertising platforms (e.g., Linked In, Indeed, Glassdoor) and social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for recruitment purposes.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and industry trends, particularly in digital marketing and technology sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software is a plus.
- Experience with ECOS and Visio.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Presentation experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience with online application processes.
- Regulation interpretation/application experience.
- Consulting, advising, or negotiating experience.
