Hot Foot Recruiters is hiring an HR Generalist to support a corporate Human Capital team based in St. Louis, MO. This role focuses on employee HR support, benefits, and policy administration, and responding to employee inquiries in a high-volume, professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a service-oriented, administrative HR function.

Contract (Potential Extension & Conversion)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

Pay:
Up to $28/hr

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions.
  • Respond to inbound calls and inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and timely follow-up.
  • Create and manage Service Now tickets (or similar case management systems) to track and resolve issues.
  • Administer HR policies, procedures, and employee programs.
  • Support compensation processes and performance evaluation programs.
  • Coordinate and assist with benefits administration, including claims resolution and change reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HRIS.
  • Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and talent acquisition support as needed.
  • Organize performance review processes and support HR reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal HR policies.
Qualifications
  • Prior HR experience required (HR Generalist, HR Support, or related role).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, must be comfortable handling employee phone inquiries.
  • Background in customer service or contact center environments is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Service Now or similar case management systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and employee record management.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • PHR certification is a plus and must be local to the St. Louis area.
