Human Resources Generalist

Looking to use your working knowledge of all things HR? We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our financial client for a hybrid (ability to go into the St Louis office as required) contract opportunity approved through 12/31/2026 within their HR Help Department.

As the HR Generalist, you’ll work with associates as they are seeking assistance in areas including but not limited to:
Policies and Procedures, Compensation, HR Records, Recruiting and Employee Relations. Intrigued…?

• Responds to phone and written fundamental HR questions to ensure professional and efficient service delivery using our case management platform, Service Now.
• Serves as first-level HR support for associates regarding benefits, compensation, performance and conduct management, hiring procedures, HR policy interpretation and promotion, separation, and transfer processes.
• Collaborate with other cross-functional HR teams to elevate associate inquiries when appropriate or guide associates to the correct team if inquiries fall outside of HR HELP's scope
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and offer support when responding to associates who are distressed by work-related matters, personal crisis, or other concerns.

• Customer Service Background – comfortability working in a call center/help line environment
• Subject matter expertise in HR discipline:
  Employee Relations, Policy and Benefits Leaves
• Ability to think strategically and provide process improvement ideas
• BS/BA in Human Resource related field
• Ability to multi-task and empathize with associates and de-escalate
• aPHR/PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP Preferred
• Familiarity with Case Management platforms, such as Service Now or Salesforce, preferred.
