Pay Range: $95,000 - $110,000
Job SummaryThe HR Manager will serve as a strategic partner to leadership and oversee all aspects of HR operations, including compliance, employee relations, benefits, talent acquisition, and talent management. This role requires strong investigative skills, knowledge of employment law, and the ability to manage complex HR issues in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Act as a cultural ambassador and uphold organizational values.
- Manage HR department operations and supervise staff.
- Serve as primary contact for leadership on HR policies and best practices.
- Lead investigations for employee relations issues and collaborate with legal counsel.
- Represent the organization in unemployment hearings and manage appeals.
- Respond to wage and hour claims, EEOC complaints, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Oversee benefits administration, open enrollment, and leave of absence processes (FMLA, CFRA, PFL).
- Prepare and submit compliance reports (EEO‑1, OSHA, Pay Data).
- Lead HR projects such as system upgrades and process improvements.
- Promote employee engagement, recognition, and retention programs.
- Utilize data for trend analysis and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of HR experience; prior management experience required.
- Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (Paycom preferred; training available).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; strong Excel skills for dashboards and reporting.
- In‑depth knowledge of HR practices and employment law.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong investigative and compliance expertise.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working with diverse teams and maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform standard office tasks.
- Must have personal transportation for occasional travel to multiple worksites; mileage reimbursement provided.
Annual Salary: $95,000 - $110,000
