Centricity Solutions, Inc., founded in 2007, is a leading provider of third‑party vendor management and transactional HR administration services. We are looking for a Benefits Administrator to manage day‑to‑day administration of group benefit programs for our clients.

Summary / ObjectiveThe Benefits Administrator position is responsible for day‑to‑day administration of group benefit programs for Centricity clients, including maintenance & synchronization of benefits/payroll/HR data with insurance carrier(s) and other third parties, as applicable. The benefits administrator also provides guidance and assistance to Centricity client liaisons and client employees, by means of verbal and written communication, on various employee benefit plans and provides analytical and technical support in the delivery of benefit programs.
EssentialFunctions
- Coordinate daily benefits processing: handle enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, COBRA, demographic/employment changes, beneficiary updates. Assist with maintenance of employee benefits files, maintain benefits platform and update employee payroll records as needed.
- Serve as a contact for customer’s group plan vendors and third‑party administrators. Assist in transferring data in support of services, premiums, and plan administration.
- Assist with regularly scheduled audit & review of monthly billings for client’s group plans and help reconcile discrepancies.
- Provide customer service support to client liaisons and/or client employees, addressing benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, accurate, and courteous resolution.
- Maintain contact with Centricity client liaisons and/or client employees by phone or e‑mail to facilitate proper utilization of benefits.
- Collaborate with colleagues in HR and Payroll departments to ensure accurate processing and exceptional execution of services to clients.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentThe position is remote, with an occasional requirement to travel to/from the Walnut Creek, CA office. Centricity will provide all necessary equipment such as a laptop, monitors, keyboards, etc. to ensure you’re able to work remotely efficiently. Physical DemandsThe role is largely sedentary but requires regular talking and hearing. Specific vision abilities required include near and far vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type / HoursThis is a full‑time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with flexibility for childcare/school pick‑up and drop‑off.
Location / TravelRemote; occasional travel to Walnut Creek, CA during initial orientation/training period and in‑person company meetings.
ClassificationSalaried non‑exempt.
PreferredEducation and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or one to three years of related benefits administration experience.
- Active California Insurance License (Life, Accident & Health).
- Experience using/configuring Rippling.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HRIS and benefits databases.
- Excellent customer service, written & verbal communication, organization & prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of employee benefits language and concepts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
