Plant HR Manager

Base pay range: $110,000–$145,000/yr.

The Plant HR Manager oversees all HR activities within the plant to ensure effective personnel management, compliance with labor laws, and employee engagement to support operational objectives.

• Partner with staffing agencies and corporate recruiting to meet production demands.
• Act as liaison between plant management and employees to resolve grievances and address workplace issues.
• Foster a positive employee experience through engagement initiatives, team‑building activities, and consistent communication.
• Oversee performance review processes, providing guidance to supervisors.
• Partner with EHS and plant leadership to ensure a safe working environment, including workers’ compensation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and company policies.
• Lead investigations into workplace incidents and employee complaints in accordance with legal requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement projects related to HR processes.
• Monitor and report on key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, attendance, and engagement scores.

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of HR experience.
• 2+ years supporting hourly workforce in an HR capacity such as manufacturing or retail.
• Worker’s compensation experience.

• Master’s degree or MBA in HR or related field.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of HR laws and compliance requirements.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
