Intermediate Level Cook requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired candidate will have hotel cooking experience and professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. This position will primarily work at our pool kitchen preparing Mexican cuisine for guests - short order style cooking with speed and quality focused. The candidate should be willing and able to operate independently with little supervision.

Wage: The hourly rate for this position is $23 - $25 per hour. This is the pay range for this position at Alila Ventana Big Sur reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience and education and training level.

Shift: 10am to 8pm availability, weekends required

• 3 to 4 years of cooking experience required
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Capable of performing repetitious duties.
