Seasonal Water Park Guest Experience Host

The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and that means a fin-tastic variety of recreational activities on the resort! With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a friendly, confident and welcoming individual to attend to the indoor or outdoor pools and/or the indoor waterpark and assist our guests as needed.

Pay $15.00 per hour

Must be at least 16 years of age

Reports to:

Waterpark Manager, Recreation Manager, Director of Recreation

• Maintain pool chemical and cleaning logs.
• Greet all guests and create a hospitable atmosphere.
• Maintain a safe and clean facility and enforce all appropriate safety rules.
• Ensure guests are using the slides and water areas safely and following safety instructions and guidelines.

Personal Skills

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
• Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
• Conducts him/herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times.
• Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.

• Must be a strong swimmer.
• Minimum pulling and lifting of 20 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
