The City of Maryland Heights is accepting applications for the Concession Attendant at Aquaport, its seasonal outdoor aquatic facility, for the 2026 season. The schedule is varied and will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. No experience needed - we will train you! Individuals hired for this position must pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check. This position also requires individuals to be vaccinated for Hepatitis A due to the oversight of concessions.
The starting pay for this position is $15.40 per hour.
Training is typically offered beginning in April, with normal hours commencing mid-May through Labor Day.
Essential DutiesProvide a safe environment for patrons of the City's facilities by following standard food service practices, cooking and preparing food items in the concession stand, limiting food waste, and accurately recording purchases in Square software. Applicants should have excellent computer, math, and customer service skills. Concession Attendants may be asked to assist Aquatics and Front Desk staff with operational features of the facility.
Additional duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

- Must be able to work harmoniously with co-workers and patrons
- Must be available for pre-season site-specific training, including certifications, facility safety, and emergency action plan orientation, scheduling, and site-specific policies and procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times. False fingernails are prohibited.
