Banquet Server

POSITION SUMMARY

The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. Accountable for serving banquet guests both on property and off.

• Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, fun, and friendly environment for guests and employees.
• Provides superior guest service, interacts positively with guests and employees, and has the ability to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Works effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
• Responsible for complete and accurate set‑up of all banquet functions in a timely manner.
• Clean‑up and secure banquet equipment, control inventory.
• Assure the efficient, smooth serving of a large quantity of guests in a timely manner.
• Has a thorough knowledge of all special events and promotional activities. Assists guests with all reasonable requests.
• Safe distribution of alcohol.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Completes all company required training within designated time frames.
• Be a customer experience owner, act in ways that will surprise and delight our guests. Leave guests with positive feelings about our property and establish/maintain relationships with them. Approach each situation with a "yes we can" attitude, every guest every time.
• Comply with our drug & alcohol free workplace. Subject to post offer, for cause and post-accident drug tests.
