Ensure safety of pool equipment, pool grounds, and guests. Pool and pool deck maintenance (hose off pool decks, remove any debris on pool decks & in pools, keep tubes stacked neatly and control use of such, keep pool furniture and umbrellas neat and clean). Maintain supply of pool towels for guests. Carry soiled towels to laundry, obtain clean pool towels laundry and carry to pool deck, keep pool towels neatly folded and stacked for guest use.
Arrange, organize, and execute activities, entertainment, and events throughout resort. Provides activity updates to all resort employees, guests, owners, and/or 3rd party vendors. Assist with communication to all resort channels. Ensure excellent customer service as it relates to activities.
- Actively communicates activities and events to all Owners and Guests. Also, ensure the safety and security of other owners and guests while providing excellent customer service as it relates to our activities and functions
- Prepare light food and cooking as required
- Consistent cleaning of Activity Center, Arcade, Amenities, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, hosing of decks, picking up trash, sanitizing, window washing, scrubbing tiles, and emptying and re-bagging trash bins
- Computer used to prepare communications/flyers to be used throughout the resort
- Performs other tasks as assigned
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Proven participation in clubs, sports, volunteerism, or extra-curricular activities is strongly desired
- Certification in shallow water safety skills, first aid, and CPR is required (HICV will provide training).
- Servsafe (preferred)
- Certifications:
Lifeguard, CPR (ARC or AHA), and First Aid (ARC or SEMT) preferred
- Effectively communicate in English – bilingual is a plus
- Show competency in water by completing a simple pre-hiring swim test to include entering the water.
- Safely, swimming at least 10 yards, diving and retrieving a ten-pound brick in at least five feet of water.
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Computer knowledge, MS Office Suite
