Job Details
Your responsibilities will include assisting in banquet event service and events, overseeing the daily operations of the host stand, ensuring a warm and welcoming guest experience, and providing exceptional service to all members and guests. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a genuine passion for hospitality all aimed at fostering connections and ensuring our team thrives together in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members.
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and sincere smile, creating a positive first impression.
- Seat guests promptly and efficiently, considering guest preferences and table availability.
- Manage reservations, answer phone calls, and handle inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding delays.
- Assist guests with inquiries, questions, and any special requests.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Supervise and train new Host/Hostesses on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Monitor Host performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment for the Host team.
- Manage the flow of guests through the restaurant, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for all.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand area.
- Assist with special events and private dining arrangements as needed.
- Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and other staff to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations.
- Provide regular updates to management on guest feedback and operational issues.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
- Ability to carry heavy plates, trays and racks.
- A commitment to providing exceptional service that makes a difference to our Membership.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
