Inns of Mendocino is seeking additional housekeeping staff for the daytime shift on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
HoursThursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for the daytime shift.

- Work efficiently, quickly, and with a high standard.
- Ability to follow schedules and lists.
- Communicate with guests; say hello professionally and kindly.
- Cleaning rooms, yard areas, parking, and office areas.
- Wash/fold clothes, cabinets, rooms, and supply areas.
- Occasionally lift/move up to 30 pounds.

- Cleans guest rooms, lobby, corridors, stairways, garage, trash, deck, and patio areas.
- Replaces guest supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies in each room.
- Removes soiled bath linens and replaces them with fresh linens.
- Makes up beds with clean linens.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors as directed.
- Asks if guests need anything else before leaving an occupied room.
- Empties and cleans wastebaskets, transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replaces bathroom supplies and interior light bulbs.
- Reports substandard conditions, including potential safety hazards, to the Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Verifies with the Front Desk before opening any doors for guests.
- Turns in all lost and found articles to the Front Office.
- Performs duties quietly and orderly, considering sleep, comfort, and satisfaction of guests.
- Locks all doors and windows when leaving a room.
- Leaves guest room door open while cleaning and locks immediately upon departure.
- Uses equipment and materials safely, following established procedures and common sense rules of safety.
- Conducts self in a manner reflecting credit on Four Sisters Inns and encourages others to do the same.

Education and/or Experience- Six months related experience and/or training is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
- Ability to speak and comprehend simple sentences.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
